The SF/F/Comic/Anime/Geek/Genre convention scene in the UK and Ireland is very active, but somewhat fractured; Different sets of fans looking for different experiences will be unaware of other groups running events that they might enjoy. A consequence of this is that sometimes you find a pile-up of events all happening at once.

This blog is an attempt to get conventions cross-promoting, for the benefit of the scene as a whole, with a particular focus on August 2015, when multiple conventions, including the Worldcon, Eurocon, and Nine Worlds 2014 will all be happening.
